Look, I have no idea what’s wrong here, other than the fact that my dash is filled with rage. From what I can tell from my dash, blame is being flung about left right an centre. I feel like ranting but for some reason, I won’t.

Max and Nicci are wonderful and the fact anyone would remotely attempt to blame them for anything is wrong. Okays? They’re lovely and I adore them. From what I understand, the two sites thing are similar or what not. But, isn’t a lot of rp’s similar? Don’t get me wrong, I understand if this Lily person created it and wants credit for it. But, by law (lol, lisa gone all lawyer) it is not copyrighted, therefore, any acts of copying are not considered plagiarism and therefore, there should be no problem.

Again, I can see why some people may get upset with this. Really, I do. But at the same time, all this is meant to be a bit of fun. The word and majority of the characters orginated from JK Rowling, and if she has no problem, then… yeah.

But, regardless. Fun. FUN. F - U - N. I don’t see why people like Nicci and Max should be victimised with hate-mail over all of this. And at the same time, this regards Nicci, Max and this Lily person to whom I have no knowledge of. Other people getting involved is only making the whole situation worse. The only reason I’m doing it, is because it’s disgusting how people can all gather together and gang up on others. It’s wrong and maybe you should all have a little sit down and marvel at how sad this really is.

Yes, it was this Lily’s idea. Wonderful, it’s so amazing that someone wants to do something like it. In a way, it’s flattering. But again, it’s between her and the other people involved. No one else. I suggest that everyone else keeps their opinions to themselves and just carry on as they were.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some bloody essays to write. Because, yes, there are some more important things in life than behaving childishly and being petty.

It’s not just that they’ve created a founders’ roleplay. THEY HAVE USED LILY’S IDEAS. The formatting is exactly the same. The history behind it. They used the same fucking words in the sidebar that Lily uses on The Founding. Their links all look identical. I’m sorry, but this is not okay.

Lisa, I’m only doing the same thing that you are in defending my friends, who are upset by the fact that people have been disrespectful enough to bastardize the work she put so much effort into. I can’t just sit here and pretend it doesn’t bother me.

The only thing on that roleplay that belongs to Rowling are the founders and the concept. Everything else was written and designed by Lily.

But that’s it. I’m done. I need to get off Tumblr and get some shit done around my apartment, so.

Yes, it was wrong to copy, it was disrespectful to Lily. She has put countless hours into making that roleplay what it is today.

You broke rules. Namely, when it came to reblogging and posting GIFs. These are small matters but you continued to do it anyway despite warnings. Also, you failed to try and become part of the community despite people trying to be open and friendly to you. You had multiple invitations to join us and never did. Yes, there was hesitation to let you join on my word BUT I am also the person who vouched for you both and told the admin you deserved a chance. 

You were told multiple times that you were breaking rules. People tried to help you, and you refused.

Okay so I’m not from Brooklyn.

But I do have rage.

Let me tell you why.

I belong to an absolutely wonderful HP founders roleplay here on Tumblr. It’s called “The Founding: The Tale Not Yet Written” and was started back in December 2011. It has a close knit community of people and I am happy to be counted among them. We love new people, we love stories and we’re willing to give anyone a chance to join us. In fact, we gave two people that chance and were and are still being repaid in a really disappointing way.

These two people joined, took characters and began to integrate themselves into the community. We have a largely active OOC space which we encouraged them to take part in. This is how we all get to know each other, this is how we do a majority of our plotting and they were told this. They did not partake in this. They played just between the two of them, ignored some of our most basic rules (such as not reblogging links, cleaning up posts, not posting grayboxes as GIFs) and eventually were asked to leave.

We did this not out of malice, merely concern for our community. We felt they hadn’t made an effort. So, leave they did. But instead of being mature, accepting their fate and moving on (when I know for a fact they have other places that suit them…oh say…here?) they did something childish and underhanded. But before I get into that, please let me show you The Founding and its set up.

Oh, hm. These look really similar don’t they? That is because the second sitestolefrom the first. And it’s really rather obvious. Those graphics just below the GIFs of the character’s FCs? See those apparently black squigglys? That’s where my admin’s graphics were edited. The layout is the same, the sidebar is the same, hell, the font is the same. The worst part? Even some of the characters are the same. Which means, they werestolen.

Now.

Max. Nicci. I’m going to tell you something. And I want you to read and listen well.

You see this account? It’s still a part of your roleplay. It can still see the dash. This place is dead, my friends have left and I’m still here. I’m still here after I have been passive-agreesively bullied, been accused of being a Mary-Sue, of harassing you guys through anons, of being another person because I tried to stick up for my friend, after OCs have been stolen from other people and just…after a lot.

But you know why I stayed? Because I liked this idea. I like this roleplay. I liked the plots and I had hope that I could still love this place despite all that. I haven’t left even though it’s pretty much dead because of that. Now, I know my word does not mean a lot to you and I know what kind of opinion you have of me. I was really hoping that I could avoid confirming the tentatively bad opinion I was growing.

But no.

You’ve confirmed it. In metal. You are desecrating a truly wonderful place with brilliant, loving people. And I have to ask…why? Are you that monstrous and uncreative that you must steal ideas that are not your own? Are you that hungry and bitchy for drama? If you knewanythingabout me you’d know how patient and forgiving I try to be. But I’m at the end of my rope.

I’m leaving here. I’m not even going to say anything bitchy or encourage people to troll you (though heaven knows you deserve it) because I’m not that kind of person. I could not however let you go after all that’s happened without saying anything. So here it is.

Max and Nicci.

You’re thieves. All hope I had for you is dead.

So. Enjoy your lives. I hope they are good ones! (I say that with honesty. Which I’m sure you won’t believe.) I never want to hear from you again.

The best bit is you won’t even believe anything I say.

I haven’t been around here lately, mostly because this RP slowed down a lot and I didn’t have anything to do, but many of you still follow me.

And I’d like to just say that while imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it’s extremely disrespectful.

I have been a part of The Founding since its creation. There, I play Helga Hufflepuff. It has been absolutely wonderful over there. And I’m appalled that Max and Nicci think it’s okay to take what our admin, Lily, has worked so hard on and claim it as their own. Because it’s not.

This is not okay.

This is also my formal goodbye to the RP, and my last post on Ariadne’s account.

I’d like to think I have a pretty high level of it? I don’t know. I guess I’ve never thought about it, really.

I have a big problem with people who are disrespectful. Too much arrogance can be a turn-off. Stupidity. Being childish. I’m sure there are others… And in terms of physical appearance, boy who’s shorter than me and/or doesn’t take care of his looks is a big turn-off.

I like a guy with nice hair, and a nice smile… A guy who’s a bit rebellious and plays by his own rules. Someone who has a good sense of humor and is smart…
